Media City Ballet

Our Mission: Artistic Director, Natasha Middleton formed the Media City Ballet with the goal to produce and perform classical and new ballet repertory that would faithfully re-imagine the principles of classical dance in the legacy of the Ballet Russe. The Company is dedicated to this vision as it pursues three primary objectives:

1. To preserve ballet’s dance aesthetic and standards of excellence created and established by the dancers and choreographers of the Ballet Russe and to develop new work that draws on the creative talents of contemporary choreographers and composers. To create meaningful dance for this time without compromising the clarity, vision and heritage of the art of ballet.
2. Through its education outreach program in local schools, social agencies and the Media City Ballet’s Junior Company, develop new generations of artists, patrons and audiences to the art of ballet.
3. Media City Ballet’s dedication to the advancement of the art of ballet will be realized by producing new works of the highest quality, creativity, and reach with principals, solo artists, a Corps de Ballet of dancers and guest artists that will stimulate compassion and joy, while reflecting the human condition and setting a standard for ballet of the time.
